Terranet collaborates with Prophesee on Event-Based Vision Technology for its new BlincVision MVP sensor solution, designed to make urban traffic safer

PARIS, Feb 17, 2026

Prophesee, the inventor of breakthrough event-based vision systems, announced that Terranet (Nasdaq: TERRNT-B), a pioneer in low-latency sensor solutions for ADAS, AD, and other industries, has integrated Prophesee’s event-based vision technology into its BlincVision MVP (minimum viable product), which is currently being evaluated by external partners.

BlincVision, which has gone through extensive validation and evaluation, is designed to dramatically improve road safety in dense urban environments, where vulnerable road users such as cyclists, scooters, and pedestrians are at the greatest risk. Prophesee’s event-based Metavision® high-dynamic range sensors detect changes in a scene at a microsecond-level temporal resolution, with an ultra-low latency. This enables rapid and highly reliable perception of fast-moving objects, even in challenging lighting conditions.

By combining event-based vision sensors from Prophesee with Terranet’s laser-scanning technology and an AI model, BlincVision is designed to support early detection of potential hazards in complex traffic environments. This capability is particularly relevant in dense urban settings, where situations can change within milliseconds and quick responses are important.

Terranet’s MVP launch announced in 2025 demonstrates the first fully integrated version of BlincVision operating with production-proven hardware and software. The addition of Prophesee’s event-based vision technology reflects a key milestone in the system’s maturation and its readiness for advanced on-vehicle testing.

“Integrating Prophesee’s event-based camera technology into the design of the BlincVision solution represents a major milestone on our path to delivering one of the fastest and most precise urban collision-avoidance systems on the market,” said Lars Lindell, CEO of Terranet. “Prophesee’s technology is a critical enabler of the ultra-low-latency perception capabilities that make BlincVision unique. Together, we are accelerating the future of safer mobility in cities around the world.”

“Terranet’s vision for next-generation ADAS aligns perfectly with the strengths of event-based vision,” said Jean Ferré, CEO of Prophesee. “BlincVision is an exciting demonstration of how our sensors can unlock performance levels that frame-based systems alone simply cannot achieve. We are proud to have Terranet join our ecosystem, and to support them as they move from MVP toward real-world validation and commercialization.”
